July 31 to August 4, legends such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Gilberto Gil, the Golden Gate Quartet and Rhoda Scott will perform at the foot of the Whales Lighthouse on the island of Ré.

Promoting the use of public transit and gentle travel to preserve the environment, the City’s public transport network and its agglomeration offers daily buses, sea bus, ferryman or bike to go to the four rocky cardinal points in a simple and fluid way. If bus lines make it possible to reach the beaches of the Ile de Ré as well as those of La Rochelle (Minimes and Chef-de-Bay), 100 kilometers of cycle paths criss-cross our maritime city and two-wheelers, in self-service as in tourist rental, are available to all.
