The Francofolies Festival around La Rochelle’s Historic Port

The Francofolies Festival is a major event for Francophone music, and each year, La Rochelle moves to the sound of over one hundred concerts which take place on stages around the Historic Port and near our La Rochelle hotel.

Whether on the Jean-Louis Foulquier stage, named after the man who created the event in 1985, at La Coursive or La Sirène venues, on the Port stage or even in the intimacy of the Saint Nicolas Tower, the dozens of artists who will perform from 10th to 14th July will uphold the spirit of this music festival which is the essential DNA of the Francos, as it is affectionately known. So, for five days and five nights, Radio Elvis, Gaëtan Roussel, Angèle, M, Christine and the Queens, The Blaze, Columbine, Lomepal, IAM, Boulevard des Airs, Soprano and even Zazie and Patrick Bruel, will take to the main stage located beside the ocean to delight thousands of fans of the ‘French Song’… and modern Francophone music. Multigenerational, varied and entertaining, the programme for the 2019 Edition will be a great opportunity to celebrate French lyrics and music. Will you be there?
